Trademark

A form of intellectual property pertaining to symbols, images, logos, words, designs, names or any combination of any such things. Trademarks are a commonly used branch of IP law and examples of trademarks can be often seen in everday life.

Domain Name

A domain name defines one or more IP addresses as well as a control, authority or autonomy of a certain administrator. Domains are purchased and with this comes the right to the domain name, which cannot be duplicated within the same top level domain (TLD).

Domain Name Dispute

A domain name dispute is settled in accordance with the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP). Disputes usually arise from an abuse of domain name registration (eg, cybersquatting) and can be resolved through court or administrative proceedings and through meetings that are overseen by a neutral third party (a mediator).
